Consultant Project Architect for Hochtief (UK) Construction Ltd for a tender to replace an existing, Brunel-designed Grade II Listed timber viaduct across the Loughor Estuary. Still in use, the structure was to be replaced during only eight days of line closure, giving rise to a design dictated by the possession management of the site and an intricate construction sequence.
